Heads up, employers: beginning in 2018, the “New” Paid Family Medical Leave Act for NY will affect every business in the state. If you own a business, you will need to know how this will apply to you and your business! While NYS has not yet determined the details of exactly how the program will work, they are stating that every employer will need to comply with this new law effective 1/1/2018.
